Parents or caregivers with babies are invited to the Wilton Playcentre at 3a Gloucester Street for The Big Latch On from 9:45am to 11:30am today. The Playcentre is looking forward to hosting this free event again, and hosting mums from the community and Playcentre members – pre-schoolers are also welcome. The best trampolining experience in the eastern suburbs has Exclusive Toddler Time today from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Uptown Bounce at 22 Kingsford Smith Street in Rongotai (next to Bunning’s) is running an Exclusive Toddler Time session once a month on Fridays for fives and unders, with safe trampolining providing wellbeing through music, movement and fun. Entry is $10 an hour, on the hour, with free entry for supervisors. Onsite cafe and WiFi as well.
Fairtrade Fortnight starts today across New Zealand, and there’s a Launch Party at the Wellington Chocolate Factory, 5 Eva Street from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. The evening will be filled with fair trade including drinks snacks, guest speakers and giveaways from Esther Daisy, Karma Cola, Yealands Family Wines, Wellington Chocolate Factory, Ritual Tea Company, Thunderpants, Peoples Coffee, Trade Aid New Zealand, Conscious Consumers, Sustainability Trust, Commonsense, and Māoriland Hub plus live music from Opal House. Zwift, the massive multiplayer online cycling and running game and training programme is coming to Wellington, and there’s a free #ZwiftTour party from 600pm to 9:00pm tonight at I-Ride, 242 Thorndon Quay. Meet other enthusiasts and five-time Olympian Greg Henderson, who has been riding in the professional peloton for the past 20 years, and has represented NZ on the track and road. Zwift stations will be set up with Tacx Neos for a fun KOM/QOM contest as well as special in-game Tacx Kiwi Tour events.

A Celebrity Impressions Drag Show will feature a stunning line-up of local kings, queens and inbetweens working out every inch of their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to perform hilarious acts as celebrity personas, including Michelle Obama ,Julie Andrews, Stormy Daniels, Ron Weasley and Jacinda Ardern.
