A meeting for public transport users in Ngaio, Khandallah, Broadmeadows and surrounding areas will be held next Tuesday, joining already scheduled consultation meetings in Karori and Miramar.
The meeting for northern suburbs residents is an opportunity to find out from Greater Wellington Regional Council (Metlink) about the new bus services in the area (numbers 22, 24, 25 and 26) and what changes are in store, and provide direct feedback.
It has been scheduled for Tuesday 4 September, from 7:30pm at the Khandallah Town Hall and Cornerstone Community Centre, 11 Ganges Road.
Tomorrow night’s Karori Public Meeting, hosted by Greater Wellington Regional Councillor Daran Ponter, is a chance for western suburbs residents to share transport issues and concerns. It’s now at Karori West Normal School, 19 Allington Road, from 7:30pm.
Next Thursday, 6 September, the Miramar bus service will be addressed at a 7:30pm meeting at Gateway Baptist Church, 33 Park Road, Miramar.
The Hutt Valley gets its turn the following week, with the Let’s Talk Buses public meeting at the Petone Rugby Football Club in Udy Street from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday 11 September.
