This was the big crowd of students who gathered in Civic Square this morning before marching through the CBD to Parliament.
Student organisers of the 15 March climate change strikes were back for round two today, with students walking out of school not only in Wellington but also across the country.
The first nationwide school strike for climate action came to a halt on 15 March as news of the Christchurch mosque attacks spread. Organisers of today’s march say they’re ramping up their effort this time in a bid to get the government to act.
