Police concerns grow for missing Khandallah woman

As the search for 26-year-old Khandallah woman Sonam Shelar moves into another day, Police concerns are growing for her safety.

Sonam Shelar, who is five months pregnant was last seen at 8.30am on Saturday 17 November, on Cashmere Avenue, Khandallah.

“We are urging residents in the neighbourhood to please ensure they check their sheds, backyards or any area where someone may seek shelter,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Warwick McKee

Sonam Shelar is of slender build and approximately 165cm tall.

She was wearing a brown jacket with fur on the hood and white, black and orange trainers.

Police are asking Khandallah residents with CCTV cameras showing the road or street in the areas of Cashmere Avenue, Onslow Road, Box Hill, Burma Road or Agra Crescent to contact Police on (04) 381 2000 or via email to [email protected]
