P.I.C. beat East to secure netball Premier Club final

As well as Ekenasio, P.I.’s lineup also boasts fellow Silver Fern shooter Maia Wilson and young Pulse mid-courter Mila Reuelu-Buchanan.

Ekenasio recently confirmed that she will be returning to the Central Pulse line-up in 2019. Despite spending more time on the bench than the court last season, staying with Wellington is important to her.

“Wellington is home for me,’’ she said. “I’m definitely family based so that means I get to stay with my family which is good and I firmly believe in what we are trying to build here at the Pulse and across the Zone and that’s exciting.”

P.I.C’s next challenge is the 2018 Netball Central Zone Super Club Tournament on 15 September.

Teams will be made up of the winners and runners up from their respective Premiere club competitions including Kapiti, Wellington, Manawatu, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Kapi Mana, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
