Hazza/Mezza schedule Wellington touchdown

The “spare to the heir and his American wife”, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will briefly visit Wellington on Sunday 28 October.

Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince Harry, sixth in line to the British throne and the third-most popular member of the royal family after his brother William and the Queen, will visit New Zealand next month with his wife, the former American film and television actress Meghan Markle.

“Hazza and Mezza”, as they are referred to in plebeian media, with both acknowledged by most free-thinking citizens as “GCs”, will alight briefly in Wellington before flying out to Abel Tasman National Park on 29 October, then visiting Auckland on the 30th, before jetting to Rotorua on the 31st, and departing New Zealand on 1 November.

The favoured-by-birth couple will arrive in New Zealand after attending the Invictus Games in Sydney and visits to Fiji and Tonga.

It will be their first major tour outside the United Kingdom, enjoying all the benefits of the exclusive air travel reserved for the rich and privileged.

No support act for the tour has been announced, and further details regarding the itinerary will be released closer to their arrival.
