Oh Sweet Nothings, LOTU, Teresa the Rat

When: Fri Nov 8th, 2019

We have a very, very, VERY special evening planned for an equally very special release ♥ We’ve been cooking up a music vid for You’re So Special – a special single off of our EP Emergency Procedures and we’d thought we’d mark the occasion by throwing a special gig with some even special-er bands especially for you 😉 ….

LOTU is an upcoming independent electronic artist based in Wellington, New Zealand. Influenced by the likes of Flume, Cosmo’s Midnight and FKJ. LOTU Combines electronic sounds with melodic chord progressions to create erratic grooves. Be prepared for some seriously good –> VIBES <– to emanate from this performance ♥

Teresa The Rat was born in a dumpster on the side of the highway in Hataitai. Infused with the grime and the smoke of the city, their sound echoes down an offensive pedal chain and through the Mt. Vic tunnel into the ears of munted punters in blunt huts with wack haircuts.

Oh Sweet Nothings are a Wellington-based indie/post-alternative/post-post-punk outfit known for their whimsical and off-kilter approach to songwriting as well as their high-octane live performances. Expect high doses of controlled chaos, dark truths, hopeful melancholy, and yucky avant-garde jams all rolled into one. OSN are fast on the rise out of obscurity, bursting onto the Wellington gig scene in support of their first EP Emergency Procedures released in late October.

Doors at 8 pm | kickoff at 9 pm | $10 at the Door
