Police need help finding Porirua robber

Police are appealing for information following an aggravated robbery at a convenience store on Corinna Street Porirua earlier this month.

Shortly before 8:00pm on Thursday 6 September, a man with a firearm demanded money and cigarettes from staff at the Corinna Superette before fleeing on foot.

No one was injured.

The alleged offender was wearing a brown T-shirt over top of a white hooded jersey or vest with three black stripes on the back and a red long-sleeved top underneath.

He was wearing jeans ripped at the knees, and red Chuck Taylor boots.

Tattoos were visible on the alleged offender’s left hand index finger and thumb.
