On New Zealand Poetry Day, he talked to Simon Sweetman for Episode 130 of the Sweetman Podcast about teaching, growing up in the South Island, his time in England and 40 years in Wellington, his trip to Antarctica, long-running collaboration with musician Norman Meehan, and of course poetry.
