Aladdin Sane eaten by bird-human in Ghuznee Street

A carefully crafted paper creation has been artfully pasted to the window of one of the doomed yellow-stickered Ghuznee Street buildings east of Cuba Street.

As well as capturing the reflected triptych tribute to David Bowie’s classic 1973 album Aladdin Sane that celebrates the 30th anniversary of JAM hairdressing and its virtuoso owner Tony Barrett,  this photo of the artwork also captures an innocent parking meter engager, and the legs of photographer Mark Cubey.
